DeSci (Decentralized Science) is an approach to sharing scientific data and research more openly and transparently using decentralized technologies such as blockchain and peer-to-peer (P2P) networks. The decentralized science movement is designed to eliminate barriers to access and participation in scientific research and centralized control of data and research.

One of the key benefits of decentralized science is to democratize access to scientific data and research.
